With Worldwide Parcel Services, you can ship items with an maximum individual weight of 500 kilos to Spain and most other destinations worldwide.
Useful things to know when sending large parcels;
1. Individual items over 70 kilos must be palletised or crated
2. Item should still be boxed and put onto the pallet (if not crated)
3. Whenever possible, cut the pallet to match the footprint of the item on it as this will reduce the volumetric calculation and could reduce the price
4. If your item is deemed non-stackable, there is a £275 surcharge. An item can be deemed non-stackable if the couriers feel it cannot be stacked upon other pallets or have other pallets stacked upon it. Any markings on the pallet indicating that it is fragile such as stickers with pictures of a glass on, "this way up" or "fragile" will also cause the couriers to treat the pallet as non-stackable.
5. Items under 70 kilos but placed on pallets must be pre-advised to us, so that we can assess the likelihood of a non-stackable charge being applied
6. Any parcel exceeding 25 kilos incurs a £25 surcharge (this is included in the quoted price), so it is worth splitting parcels to whenever possible to avoid that threshold
7. Any parcel exceeding 99cm incurs a £25 surcharge (this is included in the quoted price)
