Packaging and Preparation:

  • Good quality packaging: Parts should be securely enclosed to prevent damage during transit. Utilizing sturdy double-walled boxes is recommended, plus polystyrene chips to fill otherwise empty space, to avoid the items moving within the box. 

  • Disassembly: If possible, disassemble larger components to fit into standard-sized shipping boxes, which can help reduce shipping costs and minimize potential damage.

  • Cleaning: Ensure all parts are thoroughly cleaned and free of any fluids, fuel, oil or residues to comply with international shipping regulations.

  • Whole engines: These must be completely drained of water, fuel and oil. In addition, you should supply a statement showing that it has been professionally cleaned. It must be crated or on a pallet but sealed, not just strapped.
