Back to news... 11 December 2025 Evri urged by MPs to improve service
In the most obvious example of why we only use the best, most reliable couriers the UK has to offer (namely UPS, DHL and DPD), a number of MPs have written to Evri to try and urge them to improve the service they provide their customers, especially over the upcoming festive period.
As reported by the BBC, the MP for Gosport, Caroline Dinenage, felt the need to write to the company after being made aware of several incidence where "dumped or marked as delivered with no attempt made to actually reach the recipient".
In addition, two MPs from Bournemouth East and Poole, Tom Hayes and Neil Duncan-Jordan, also wrote to Evri to encourage them to provide a better service for their constituents.
In response, Evri stated "Our priority is to handle every parcel with care, and we apologise to any customers in the area who have experienced issues". But this will come as little consolation to those customers, some of which have had their parcels dumped in a "piles in random rural locations" or "dumped without any attempt at delivery".
Our customers' trust is extremely important to us, so while we know you can send parcels for even less than we offer, we refuse to work with couriers with a track record such as this.
