Can I send a 50kg parcel to Italy?

Yes we can deliver any parcel up to 500kg and we can offer very competitive rates to parcels being delivered to Italy with a variety of prices from a range of different couriers so that you get the best deal. If you do want to send a parcel which is heavier than 500kg, please send us an email at [email protected] with your dimensions and weight and we will try and find the best quotes for you.

Are there any additional cover offered at Worldwide Parcel Services for parcels which are being sent

We provide cover for up to £100 on standard claims cover on parcels. This is included as part of the basic booking price (subject to terms and conditions).

Is it possible to use WPS to return my parcel from Italy?

Yes we are able to return any parcels that have been sent to Italy, but check that the company you are returning it to doesn't offer their own service.

Is it possible to track my parcel to Italy?

Yes. We offer free tracking services on all of our parcel deliveries.

Can I send heavy items such as car parts to Italy?

What labels should I attach to my parcel to Italy?

Only use our labels; do not use any labels, or complete any form brought in by the driver (with the exception of Interlink if you do not have a printer).

How can I protect extremely fragile items I am sending to Italy?

Customs and Duty

Before sending any parcel to Italy with Worldwide Parcel Services, make sure that you check our restricted & prohibited items list.

In addition to this list, you also cannot send the following to items in your packages to Italy:

  • Albums of any kind, including but not limited to photographic, postcard and postage stamp albums
  • Aerosols
  • Cartridges
  • Musical instruments
  • Footwear
  • Leather goods
  • Toys made from wood
  • Artificial flowers
  • Aftershaves, Perfumes

Brexit

As you will be aware, the UK left the EU on the 31st December 2020. This means that there are some changes that you need to be aware of when sending a parcel to Italy.

One change is that all shipments from the UK to EU countries will require a commercial/pro forma invoice. When you book a parcel to Italy with WPS, we will automatically create these and send them electronically to the courier. If you are shipping as a business, you will need to provide your EORI number.

You will not be charged VAT by us when booking your shipments, however, this and other fees may be payable by the receiver in the destination country. For more information about Brexit and what that means for your parcel, read our full guidance here.
