Sending Parcels to the EU & Brexit

Following Brexit, some changes have come in that will effect you when sending a parcel from the UK to Spain.

A free trade deal has been agreed by the government and the EU, which means that no duties should be applied to your shipment, however, your recipient may be asked to pay VAT at their local rate on the value of your goods and the carriage charge.

All shipments to the EU will now also require a commercial or pro-forma invoice. When you book online with Worldwide Parcel Services, we will automatically generate this for you and send it to your courier. If you are sending as a business, you will be required to enter your EORI number when booking.

What Can I Not Send to Spain?

Wherever in the world you are looking to send a parcel, there will be limitations and restrictions as to what you are able to send. Spain and the wider European Union are no exception to this rule. To enable Spain to protect their residents and keep potential pests from other countries out of their borders, there are some items that cannot be sent.
